i recently just got an assload of jay-z's (after i finish putting everything up i think we'll have all of jay's clean albums on the site). i'm gonna spread it out a little bit, but at any rate, this is the 'blueprint 2'. people dissed it but there's great stuff on it, it's just long as hell. you can peep some of just blaze's best cuts on here.

this is one of my my favorite finds for this site. thanks to squeek for the hook-up. this is the clean retail version of biggie's classic 'ready to die'. songs like 'juicy', 'unbelievable', 'warning'...shit the whole damn record. this just made my day. hope it makes yours.

one of the classic mid 90s west coast albums. freestyle fellowship emcee and left coast legend put out his most celebrated album back in '95 (or was it '96?) at any rate great record and hard to find on clean. enjoy.
Aceyalone-All Balls Don't Bounce (clean)
one of my favorite emcees and one of his very slept on albums. it had some dope cuts on there.....examples escape me right now, but hey redman always has some cuts filled with blunts and humor. what more could you ask for? would love to get a clean 'muddy waters' for those out there reading.
this was the second installment of the pete rock' 'soul survivor.' i'm a lil pissed cuz i let someone borrow my copy a while back and it's been m.i.a. ever since. so, i think i need to rediscover the cuts on here. guest slots from little brother, dead prez and more. dope find.
Pete Rock-Soul Survivor 2 (clean)
back once again. been a short hiatus cuz a brother's been getting ready to leave the country soon but we're back in full effect. this is lupe's second installment 'the cool,' which next to kweli's 'eardrum' was my favorite hip-hop album of '07. dopeness. thanks to squeek boogie for the hook up.
Lupe Fiasco-The Cool (clean)

we got it. thanks to squeek boogie once again who has been dropping golden nuggets left and right. this is the clean controversal nas album with wonderful songs like "friend chicken" (fantastic shit) and "sly fox." you see that? THAT JUST HAPPENED! SHAKE & BAKE!

this is one of my pics i took of lupe when he performed live in columbia, sc in promotion of his debut album 'food & liqour'. the dude is crazy and probably one of the best debuts in a while. here ya goes.
Lupe Fiasco-Food & Liqour (clean)
this is the album that started it all for me. once we thought that the hip-hop music WE grew up with was gone, here comes these three country niggas from north carolina. it's hard as hell to find this. enjoy it. thanks to squeek boogie.

"and i'm gonna miss everybody," is probably the most notable phrase by this group. back in their glory years (before they all got solo deals with koch releasing an album a week) they were one of the biggest groups in hip-hop. this collection shows why. biggups to laks for the link. enjoy.
BTNH-The Collection Vol. 1 (clean)
okp's own tREBLEFREE has a new album coming and we got the exclusive first look. sent to me by him personally check out the album. is dope as hell featuring guest spots from
donwill of tanya morgan, dvs, natural born and more.

aww, the death row days. remember when all of their albums with every sentence being an 'f' bomb? me too. i wonder how this clean album will sound (might just be an instrumental based on how much is edited). but never the less i'm glad to have it. another gem dropped from knowone.
Dr. Dre-The Chronic (clean)
this is the album that started it all. neptunes created that hybrid of hip-hop/rock/skateboard music that paved the way for lupe and other rappers that wear bright color gear. at anyrate, this is a wonderful album and i'm glad to finally get it clean so i can play it at work.
N.E.R.D.-In Search of...(clean)
i remember when his first album came out he was a southern force to be reckoned with. got a lot of respect for mr. banner. as this isn't his new album, this clean version should hold you over. thanks to KCPlayer21 for the linkage.

we got a couple of slum village joints. 'detroit deli' (the first slum album without baatin) and 'trinity' (the first slum album w/o dilla). the clean 'trinity' is a lil' different than the dirty one. it may have an extra song or two or a song was left off, i can't remember. at any rate they're here for you all to have and make babies to. eazy.
Slum Village-Trinity (clean)
Slum Village-Detroit Deli (clean)
this is when the rapper with the biggest nappiest beard didn't belong to freeway. *sigh* the relationship b/t primo and jeru was just magical. this is probably the last jeru album i've listened to. dope shit from mid-ninety primo beats.
Jeru-Wrath of the Math (clean)
i think this is my favorite 'ye album. i mean, when i heard 'we major' my head damn near exploded. great record. i'm still looking for 'college dropout,' that should be here soon. and i will up 'graduation' later on. enjoy beeches!
Kanye West-Late Registration (clean)
this is the album that meant so much to me when it came out. little brother, revamping the native tongue sound, got a major deal and were representing all the independent mcs and producers everywhere. the album that got all of the acclaim but unfortunately didn't get the sales it deserved. this will be considered a classic the years to come.
Little Brother-The Minstrel Show (clean)
this is probably one of my favorite albums of all-time in any genre. it is by far my favorite roots album. the album that got 4.5 mics in the source (you know, when the mics meant something). not much i can say, was very happy to get this clean version. hope you are as well. skeet skeet.
The Roots-Illadelph Halflife (clean)
"hazy like asthma/ bizarre disaster/ stress almost had me down from being the master." damn, i love this album. it's hard to believe it's been about 11 years since it came out, a time when payday records had all your favorite d.i.t.c. folks coming out. well, we can relive the glory years for a moment.
Monday, July 7, 2008
the follow up to the classic 'black on both sides', mos came back with an album that baffled his older fans. but, there was some really dope heat on here. at any rate, biggups to twoface2178 for the hook ups.
also, we have az's 'aziatic' for yall. biggups!
Mos Def-The New Danger (clean)
next to 'illadelph halflife' this might be my favorite roots album. this is the album where everything seemed to go right for the band, including a grammy for 'you got me'.
this is one i've been feening for. thanks to tREBLEFREE for the hook up. yezzur.
The Roots "Things Fall Apart" (clean)
before he started recording phone calls of grown men crying, he put out this album. this pretty much was the biggest record of that year, bringing the swinging pendulum back to ny. full of raw gun talk, dre and dre-ish beats and of course an eminem co-sign made this album an unforgettable one (even though if i never hear 'inda club' again, it won't be too soon. that shit was played so much when it came out that i've heard it enough for a lifetime). thanks to SsenepoD for the hook up.
50 Cent-Get Rich or Die Trying (clean)

you're welcome, bitches!
remember that group with the two dudes and that chick? yea, they were cool. and then the chick got famous, got crazy and got....well, still crazy. well, at least we have this to remember them by. this is one of those defining albums of the mid 90s. '96 was such a great year. enjoy.
The Fugees-The Score (clean)
i hate wal-mart. like, with an unhealthy passion. but when this album came out, i wanted to have a clean version so bad to play in my record store that i took the plunge at 1:30am at wally world. pharoahe, hope you appreciate it nigga! here ya go.
Pharoahe Monch-Desire (clean)
this is the album when common started venturing out and becoming more of who he is today. it's hard to believe this album came out about eleven years ago. damn, time flies.
at any rate enjoy! Common-One Day It'll All Make Sense (clean)
Saturday, July 5, 2008
the album that was made based on a bet (don't ever bet that primo CAN'T make anyone sound dope as hell). this is the very rare clean version of living proof and some instrumentals from the 12"s. biggups to dj joey on the hook up.
Group Home-Living Proof (clean)
sup yall? this is preach with the first installment of 'i'm mike honcho.' basically this is a site for the djs that are looking for hip-hop radio edits.
i work @ a record store so, to have a radio edit helps in order to play and promote stuff. you got stuff to send in? email it to me: firstname.lastname@example.org
